Let’s Make Some Alkaline Water!

How to make alkaline water

The water is alkaline when its pH value is adjusted so that it is about 8 or 9, which is a base.
The following is a simple way to achieve an alkaline effect on your body:
You will need:
1 jar of water (2 liters), clean filtered water (if only tap water is available for you, then you should use it)
1 organic lemon, washed, cut into eight pieces
1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt (available in health food stores)
Fill the jar with the water, add the lemon slices (do not squeeze them!)
Then add 1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt, cover it and let it sit during the night (8-12 hours) at room temperature.
Wake up and drink three glasses of this water before anything else for the best alkaline balance in your body.
Try this tomorrow and your body will thank you!

If you are not into making your own alkaline water…you can find high alkaline bottled water at the market!  I found these at Trader Joe’s and Sprouts!

Make sure to drink an adequate amount of water each day….  Rule of thumb, 1/2 your weight in ounces each day, of course depending on weather and exercise!  There are a lot of different ideas on how much water you should drink.  You need to listen to your body, and do what’s right for you!
